USE TOILET, please!

I was looking through my old Facebook photos postings and I found this:

THANK YOU, New York Summer 2008!

First of all, I love passive aggressive notes. I love anything that pertains to pooping, especially passive aggressive notes. AND, I love the fact a passive aggressive note was written because someone had pooped outside, not in a toilet. YAY!

(94/365) Geaux Saints!

I'm almost caught up with my 365s! Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday. Superbowl Sunday. Yes, even I watched. 31-17. GO AMERICA! Right around the corner from the Chesapeake was the ESPNZone from which I ate a feast of appetizers.

(93/365) Hippodrome Hatters

In the middle of the blizzard, I spotted this store front. I thought it looked as though it came from another period of time.

(92/365) Panic on the elevator!

While it was snowing outside, inside at the hotel, people were stuck in an elevator, half on my floor, half on the floor below. I felt the need to captured it.

(91/365) Caribou Cute!

The boy I sit next to in training told me that Caribou Coffee originated in Minnesota. After a quick wiki check, I found it to be true! I ordered the turtle mocha and enjoyed my seat briefly in-store before heading back to work.

I love how Caribou is willing to take risks on their cup design! Turquoise plus owls and raccoons = adorable! Look at my previous post on Caribou coffee cups.

(90/365) The Brewer's Art

Lo and behold, I showed up at a hipster bar.

Here, shines the light of those who are extremely conscious of their images!

Snowtorious B.I.G.: Baltimore 2010

Snowmageddon? Weather.com predicts that it will snow again on Tuesday for up to 10 to 20 inches in addition to the 28.8 inches that the city has already received. I don't mind being stuck in Baltimore. I tried to get out - NYC and DC and both times, I've failed miserably.

On the bright side, I have tons of food remaining and I've had cabin fever in Atlanta for the past 6 weeks. I went to Whole Foods last week, where from the lack of overpriced fresh veggies, people actually knew that something bad was coming. I could also tell from the complete lack of ready made sushi. I bought a big thing of fruit. (It's amazing how thing can be used as a unit and everyone knows what it means.) I bought icecream, I have coffee. I have enough socks, tights, scarfs, and gloves to choke even the most ennui of hipsters. I have HBO on my television and ramen noodles. It's all a matter of rationing my food, but I'm pretty sure the remaining 10 packs of oatmeal that I've not eaten, will hold me if I eat all the rest of my yummy food. Yum yum yum! I'm pleasantly plump and pleased.

AND I have been saving Wickedly Ever After, a Pleasure Emporium Novel by Michelle Marcos to stave off any other crazy boredom that I may encounter.

Ooh lala!

I haven't blogged in quite some time. It is amazing all the craziness that I've encountered these past two weeks. I was going to save my blogging for when I return home, but I'm thinking I could start while my ideas are still fresh.

The only thing I hope is that there are no delays with my flight out on Friday back to Atlanta, from there, I'm off to Providence!!  Get ready for a barrage of daily pics!

(89/365) Nautica

I love this man.

(88/365) Healthy start

Stuff in my fridge. Liquid Yogurt and a Bud Light Lime tall boy.

(87/365) The World is my Oyster

Jen and I finally made it to Woodberry Kitchen right before the blizzard, which was fortunate because WK is a hipster's paradise. Organic, local, homestyle and motherfucking delicious.

These were my oysters with daikon and pork. A delicious departure from the logical cheesy mix.

Snowpocalypse 2010

The snow in Baltimore has hit its apex and I've been feasting off of delicious food that I have purchased at a high price at Whole Foods and in my hotel lobby. I like hibernating indoors so this isn't an issue but PERHAPS I had an urge to see the Aquarium or the Cezanne exhibit at the Modern Art Museum. My skin is so dry and I've been retaining liquids from my increased sodium intake... Good thing I'm no model.

I have to say, that life could have been a lot harder. Thank goodness I'm staying in a hotel.

Yesterday at sunset, I walked to the Harbor and caught the amazing lighting. The snow is incredibly beautiful and combined with the water... it's haunting and gorgeous! 24.8 inches of snow!

(86/365) Chip Service

I live at the Marriott for the next three weeks so I ordered some room service! I'd been craving the dip!

Did it look good? Aiya, it didn't taste too good either. Disappointing.

(85/365) Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

I just sang the entire song from the Sound of Music to get to the line that I've used for my title.

"...Silver white winters that melt into springs, these are a few of my favorite things. " I'm tired of silver white winters and as I'm typing this, it's snowing outside, AGAIN.

This my friend Jen. We have been friends for more than 10 years now. Ridiculous. I love how her red coat matches the red truck against the red brick in the background, blanketed by the white beautiful snow! There's nothing I love more than stomping in fresh white snow.

(84/365) Guidette!

SCHNICKAS.

Oh Snooki, you've come so far! What I love about this photo is that she's missing her bump-it!

(83/365) Christine's Candy Bar

Thank you Flora and Fei for my candy from Hong Kong!! Candy is a great and tasty souvenir from far and away places. Literally, a taste of Asia.

These are marshmallows with pudding inside. DUH-licious.

(82/365) Piano Man

In the spirit of camaraderie, I spent a lot of money on sub-par random Italian food at a restaurant/jazz bar and a Russian waitress. Getting there was half the battle but a co-worker of mine managed to get on the keys and played a few bars. Meanwhile, I was at the bar.

(81/365) A Hipster Grows in Baltimore

Oh, to love a hipster! This is me in a hipster's paradise, on the Harbor in Baltimore.

Get my reference? (If you do, leave a comment.)

(80/365) Cup o' Kitty

I love housewares used non-traditionally. Plates for displaying jewelry and cups for pens. I love this cup. I also like the yellow and blues in this photo!

(79/365) KITTIES

These Hello Kitties exist together somewhere, perhaps in a collection of someone I know...
