Happy Friday!

This is the cutest thing I've seen on the internet since I woke up. Happy Friday. Just a few more hours before we can break from work!

Things that I have considered buying myself in the past week

The things I want to buy and the things I need to buy are a jumbled mix in my mind at all times. Sometimes I have a more lean mindset, so the things that I need are more of a priority. Other times, like the entire month of September, I think more about the things that I want, and then things get crazy.

So let's split things into things I need, things I really need, things I want in passing, things I want, things I want to splurge on. If you're horrified by my categorizing, I'm not sorry.

Things I need.
Eggs. Chives.

Things I really need.
Eggs. Chives. Pepper, seriously how do I keep forgetting? Diet Coke in bulk. Olive oil. Calpico. Ketchup. To clean my room. To take out the trash.

Things I want in passing
New nail polish. A new set of Muji pens. Something from Cole Haan (25% full price things!), Tom Ford lipstick ($49) - I tried it and it's incredible. A good night's sleep. A new dress from J.Crew./Kate Spade/Urban/ASOS. An iPhone?

Things I want (for my birthday)
Tocca Stella, a huge Capri Bay Volcano candle, a new dress from Anthro, that damn Tom Ford lipstick, 50 pairs of Hello Kitty glasses. Yes, bitch, 50. Justin Timberlake to love me so much - damn you, Jessica Biel.

Things I want to splurge on
Tom Ford lipstick in Cherry Lush, a swanky haircut, a meal at Frances/Coqueta/Kokkari, a facial. Jewels. Anything that's on Gilt.

Same city, new job, new life

Today marks the one year anniversary of my moving to San Francisco. I've moved jobs, houses, and mindsets since the last time that I blogged. I'm still crazy, but my room is smaller, messier and I own way too many rubik's cubes.

I've made a lot of new friends but still stayed in touch with old friends. What makes an old friend old and a new friend new? What makes a new friend feel like we're old friends? Friends are friends and I'm lucky enough to have awesome friends not only in San Francisco, but everywhere.

I like it even better when my friends visit.

Monica and I in a SF institution, Philz on Mission.

I'm not sure if I'm going to start blogging again but I'm too far behind to back blog, so I'll just tell you that my eyebrows look great, my clothes don't fit, I've got a new job and I'm just as lucky as ever. My favorite belt has a gold bow on it.

If you want to look me up, I'll be in the Mission absolutely until the end of the year, look for the Asian girl in thick glasses, wearing a cross body bag, probably eat at Humphrey Slocombe's.

Good luck, suckaz.
